The student renter (“LESSEE :) does hereby agree to rent a Cool~Wave model
refrigerator/freezer/microwave combination unit from Micro 101 Solutions.
1) The LESSEE agrees the Cool~Wave unit will be available during the first
3 weeks of school. Micro 101 Solutions does not guarantee that the unit will
be in your room upon arrival. DO NOT BRING FOOD WITH YOU TO SCHOOL. Micro 101
will not be responsible for any food items spoiled prior to the arrival of the
rental unit.
2) Micro 101 will within a 24-Hour period resolve at its discretion and expense
replace or repair any problems the LESSEE has in order to get the unit working
properly.
3) Payment will be processed upon receipt of order.
4) The LESSEE agrees that Micro 101 will be allowed to enter the student’s
room to install or remove the Cool~Wave within the guidelines outlined by the
University. Whenever possible personnel will be accompanied by appropriate school
personnel.
5) The LESSEE agrees to reimburse Micro 101 for any and all loss or damage to
the rental unit from any cause whatsoever. If legal action is required, LESSEE
agrees to reimburse Micro 101 reasonable attorney’s fees. In the event
the unit is not returned, the replacement cost for the unit will be $500.00
6) NO deposit is charged, but a $30.00 Fee will be assessed if:
• The unit is NOT turned in on time
• IS NOT CLEANED, DEFROSTED, NO STANDING WATER, NO STICKERS, AND ALL PARTS
• Unit has been moved without informing Micro101
7) Refund/Cancellation Policy for the year. Within 5 days of installation, a
complete refund, no hassles. Cancellations beyond these time limits will only
receive the deposit (subject to above clauses regarding such deposit.)
8) If LESSEE decides to move or transfer anytime during the academic year, including
semester break, they must notify Micro 101 of their intentions no less than
three weeks prior to their move. Micro 101 will move the Cool~Wave at the LESSEE
request for free.
9) LESSEE acknowledges that the unit requires a grounded (three prong) outlet.
If your room does not have a proper outlet, a grounded adapter must be used.
If an extension cord is used, it must be a three prong extension cord with a
wire gauge no thinner than #18 wire.
10) The return date for the unit is determined in conjunction with the school’s
Housing or Residential Life Office.
11) If two students in the same room order and do not need two units, we will
contact each parent and refund half of the rental cost. Our software will recognize
duplicate room number and we will notify both parents.
12) You do not need your room number to order. Housing will notify us weeks
before you arrive at campus, assuring your unit will be delivered with all intentions
before you arrive.
